The first ever Pole to Pole SUP Challenge

On Sunday 30 September Thailand will play host to the first ever Pole to Pole SUP Challenge. As part of the annual King of Kickers Wakeboarding Championship, participants will be invited to compete in a paddling time trial, paddling between the two poles at the wake board park.

Entrants can race against the clock as many times as they like to record their best time. At the end of the day, the three best times will race in a final where they will do a running start from land and paddle to the last wakeboard ramp. Here, an ice cold beer will be waiting for them to skull before paddling on to the finish. The winner will be crowned King of the Pole to Pole and receive a Starboard winners bag, Starboard t-shirts and more beers. Second and third place holders will receive a six pack of beers and a Starboard t-shirt.

SUP boards will be on display for free use on the lake throughout the day. There will be no charge to enter the Pole to Pole SUP Challenge, so if you are an SUP enthusiast, a wakeboarder or simply planned on being a spectator, come down and check it.

The Wakeboarding comnpetition kicks off from 10am on Sunday 30 October, and the SUP time trial will be online from 11am onwards. All time trials need to be completed by 4pm and the final will commence shortly there after.
